Hi Alan,
Thanks for the positve comments. Here is a posting that has links to several server-side javascript resources:
http://www.sitepoint.com/blogs/2009/03/10/server-side-javascript-will-be-as-common-as-php/
Those links should get you on your way to Javascript ORM.

Thanks a lot for this example of Jaxer coding, very helpful
and worked first time!!
I've been trying to replace your Create details with form input but am having problems, is this possible?
Also, do you have any update on the status of Jaxer development re JS ORMs?
Regards

Hi Abel,

You have a nice list of brushes. You are correct that it is now bundled. I posted the brush to the forum at alexgorbatchev.com, and just like magic, it appeared in the distribution.

Though this posts mentions that this brush is not yet included in the SyntaxHighlighter distribution, it actually is. In addition, I included it in my overview of "all" brushes (including custom ones, published anywhere): http://www.undermyhat.org/blog/2009/09/list-of-brushes-syntaxhighligher/

Now that I found this, I know the origins of the perl brush :-) I added a link to Beaver Creek Consulting, but if perhaps you rather have it linked somewhere else, let me know.

Hi again, the error was very foolish.

I was defined a List from org.hibernate.mapping.List instead of java.util.List, when I changed this import the example worked fine.

Sorry & Thanks.

Hi Edgar,

What type of list do you have in the parent class? My searching has shown two cases where this exception pops up.
1) When the collection is a user defined type
2) When you should be using a set instead of a list

HTH,
Marty

Hi, I'm other Edgar.

I was following this example and I have a problem with the list in the parent class. The error is " Illegal attempt to map a non collection as a @OneToMany, @ManyToMany or @CollectionOfElements ".

Do you know this error and why I have it ??

Thanks in advance.

Thanks so much for this post. I was working with a case of a composite-key that contained a foreign-key. No doubt it would have taken a lot longer to figure out if you hadn't spent the time to do this write-up. Thanks for your time and the excellent details.
