Speaker and Blogger Highlights Beaver Creek Consulting’s iPhone App

Friday, April 2nd, 2010

Luke Petry praised Beaver Creek Consulting in making the best iPhone App with their Food Essentials Scanner App.  He points out how the Internet levels the playing field by allowing smaller companies compete with huge players like Digg and MicroSoft .

Because Beaver Creek Consulting’s App made Business Indsider’s best iPhone App list along side of MicroSoft’s Bing and with the popular social bookmarking site, Digg, Mr. Petry reminds us about the power of the Internet. It’s been a great week for BCC!  The App seems to be making a splash; it will be fun to see people using their iPhone devices as scanners in grocery stores with the use of this App!

Beaver Creek Consulting’s iPhone App Makes Best App of the Week

Friday, April 2nd, 2010

After two weeks of launch, Beaver Creek made the prestigious “Best iPhone Apps of the Week” list by Business Insider.  With over 300,000 Apps, according to IDC, selling on the iTunes store, this is a very esteemed announcement in a highly competitive field.

The Food Essentials App will scan bar codes and will provide people with not only nutritional information, but it will outline the additives and allergens that each item contains. This type of information cannot be ordinarily seen on nutrition labels.  People will be able to unleash their iPhone and use it as a regular scanner – a feature that most people don’t know that they’re carrying in their purse or pocket.

Pretty cool stuff!
